plugging into unplugged

when i first copped a copy of lauryn hill's unplugged, i remembered listening to it religiously. the words, the message, her thoughts, her honesty is just beautiful.

last i heard, shes bankrupt.

she gave up being an entertainer. she persevered to be herself, a mother, a wife and a musician.

i relived that excitement today. i relived listening to her own self-discovery.

if you havent listened to it, go listen.

sometimes it is important to disconnect
