dollar dollar bill y'all

Urgh.

I hate rich people.

Rich people and their filthy money scamming the rest of the world. Rich people who teach the rest of the world, insecurity. Rich people who tell you are not enough until you buy into their latest fad. Rich people who are rich at the expense of others.

Now, for some gross stats.
  • Only 10% of the world is rich, and they possess over 80% of the world's wealth.
  • 20% of the world is in poverty
  • The rest of us are the mediocre bastards in between.
I can't testify for the accuracy of these statistics but to think that a minority holds a major slice of the pie is urbanly distasteful.

Poverty is a word that I know vaguely of and have no direct control over. I belong to the mediocre population whose lives revolve around work, shop, tv, sleep, shit, cleanse, repeat.

I don't know a lot of things but I know this simple truth.

It takes money to make more money. Hence, this illustration.

$A - Amount of money Bastard invests
$R - Revenue that comes from $A
$P - Profit that comes from $A
B - Bastard, being a bastard

Bastard invests $A in a developing nation to produce shit. Revenue $R comes from $A is used to offset costs of production in developing nation. The shit produced is sold cheaply to the consumers since operating costs are low. Bastard reaps a huge profit $P and mother nation of Bastard benefits most.

Here also begins the red flags for other issues like inhuman work conditions, exploitation of child labour, externalized costs, global warming so on and so forth.

The profits that come from $A mainly go to the Bastard who had the money in the first place. So if we depend on trade to abolish poverty, it sounds as though the disparity between rich and poor will be enlarged proportionately.

I can think of a simple and idealistic solution. The rich should give away their luxurious portion of the pie to the people who need it more.

Of course, that is never going to happen since we are creatures who need ownership of stuff for a sense of identity.

You know what you get from rich people instead, them being humble. If I were rich, of course I'd be humble. I want to keep all my money and being humble is free, so humble is my (free) gift to you, paupers.

Fuck being humble. How about some fucking money instead.

Ok. That's alot of angst for one post. Happy post next time, promise.
